The Getaway Car
• The red BMW car used in the murder was recovered by police on the 26-10-1994 in the Harrow area. It was established that one of the last persons to have possession of it was a man called Leonard [Pip] Bennett.


• Bennett is of mixed race and therefore would have been excluded from being either the gunman or his accomplice.
